NSCCA Modern Trophies, trophy cabinet launched

THE North Suburban Community Cricket Association held a special function on Wednesday, February 3, at the at the Wanneroo Sports & Recreation Club, Crisafulli Street in Wanneroo

On the night, the NSCCA unveiled its new trophy cabinet, sponsored by Modern Trophies.

The function included an appearance from NSCCA sponsors, including Mike Roberts of Modern Trophies, Craig Mackellar of Paragon Corporate Training and Tom Pivac of Kookaburra.

NSCCA/WCA Life-members, sponsors and club presidents were also in attendance.

NSCCA Patron, The Hon Mayor of Joondalup, Troy Pickard was another guest of honour.

The Association’s longest-serving Life-member and North Beach Cricket Club legend, Glen Wiese made the trip from Mandurah to be at the function, as did John and Maureen Stewart who traveled from Coogee to be at the special night and catch up with friends.

On the night, NSCCA president Tim Park thanked Modern Trophies for their generous sponsorship of the new trophy cabinet.

The cabinet will be housed at the Wanneroo Sports & Recreation Club.

Mr Park said it was important for the NSCCA to have a base to keep its trophies and other awards secure and on display.
