Modern Trophies launch Wednesday Frebuary 3

THE North Suburban Community Cricket Association had a big win over the Perth Cricket Association in the Cricket West Seniors competition last weekend.

The Veterans also had a win, but unfortunately the Colts were well beaten.

Scores: NSCCA 308/4 (G.McCormack 121, S.Defilipis 90, R.Burlninson 37no; P.Byrne 2/51, G.Martin 2/63) b PCA 225 (B.Hutchinson 50, T.Jury 23; J.Braid 3/21, R.Walton 3/75, R.Burlinson 2/37).

The NSCC will also hold a special function this Wednesday, February 3, at the at the Wanneroo Sports & Recreation Club, Crisafulli Street in Wanneroo

On the night, the new Modern Trophies sponsorship of a new trophy cabinet for the NSCCA will be unveiled.

The function will include all NSCCA/WCA Life-members, sponsors and club
presidents.

The Association’s longest-serving Life-member and North Beach Cricket Club legend, Glen Weise has also promised to make the trip from Mandurah to be at the function.
